CS Square Development Development FAQs

Q: Who owns CS Square Shopping Centre, where is it located?
A: CS Square is owned by the Australia Prime Property Retail Fund. Lendlease manages the operations and development of the Centre on behalf of the owners. CS Square is located 25 km west of Melbourne's CBD. The Centre is located at 29-35 Lake Street, Caroline Springs.

Q: What is the value of the CS Square development?
A: The CS Square development is a $45 million project.

Q: What will the development deliver to CS Square?
A: The development will deliver a Woolworths supermarket, a large format discount store and a further 10 specialty stores along with a carwash. This will increase the centre’s GLA to 28,000 sqm, providing customers with three supermarkets under one roof with more than 1100 car park spaces.

Q: When will work commence on the development and when do you anticipate it to be finished?
A: Works are due to commence late January 2018. Construction is expected to take approximately 14 months with a completion period early 2019.

Q: Where is the centre being expanded?
A: The expansion works will be located on the vacant land north of the Centre along Commercial Road.

Q: What new retailers can the community expect following the development?
A: The development will deliver a Woolworths Supermarket along with approximately ten new specialty stores. Details on specific retailers will be announced closer to opening of the new development.
